Our goal is to become an extension of your team where the health of the individuals who make up your organization is our top priority. How We Got Started While coaching the LSU Women’s Basketball team, I was looking for a way to highlight the “service” piece of my philosophy. I had just moved to Baton Rouge, and I was racking my brain for ways to involve the community in my program. That’s when it hit me: What better way to show my team what true service, commitment, leadership, and discipline looks like than to work with our state police department? I reached out to the Louisiana State Police department to see if they’d be willing to work with my team and they were thrilled that I had contacted them! I was equally ecstatic to be working with some of the best men and women in the state of Louisiana and thus, a partnership was born. Since that time, my teams and I have endured some intense training sessions and learned the true meaning of leadership, teamwork, and service. These officers were giving their time outside of normal duty to help mold these young women and I knew I had to find a way to repay their generosity.
