From War to Wine is your direct line to some of the best Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Rhone wines in the world, from Alma Rosa Winery in the celebrated Sta. Rita Hills, crafted by our acclaimed winemaker Samra Morris. Here is what I can do for you. If you love wine, I will match you with bottles you will genuinely love, or set you up with a wine club membership that delivers exceptional wines all year. If you are a business owner, I will make client gifting effortless. Tell me about your client and I will choose the perfect bottle, whether that is a bold Pinot for the steak lover or a crisp Chardonnay for someone who entertains. A thoughtfully chosen bottle says more than any gift card, and a club membership keeps you on their mind all year long. Closing gifts, team celebrations, client appreciation, I handle it all. And when you want to go beyond the bottle, I create wine experiences your clients and teams will never forget, from private tastings to unforgettable days at the estate. We ship to 49 states. Tell me who you want to impress, and I will take care of the rest. How We Got Started From War to Wine started as my story before it became my brand. I am a combat Army veteran, and when I came home, I found my healing and my future in wine country. I started in the dirt as a vineyard manager, then became an assistant winemaker, learning the craft barrel by barrel. Along the way I began writing about the journey, a collection called From War to Wine, and those writings gave this brand its name. Today I serve as Estate Ambassador at Alma Rosa Winery, founded by Richard Sanford, a Vietnam veteran and the godfather of Santa Barbara County wine. Richard came home from war and pioneered the Pinot Noir that put the Sta. Rita Hills on the world map. Two veterans, two different wars, one belief: that this soil can turn service into something beautiful. I know these wines from the soil to the cellar to the glass, and there is nothing I love more than sharing them. War taught me how to serve. Wine gave me a new way to do it.
